After only three or four years on this earth, his life had become a testimony to survival. Despite having been cruelly abandoned in the past, and having to deal with several medical handicaps in his all-too-short life, he was never anything but gentle, affectionate and accepting. His name was Kitty-Boy, and in the short time we knew him, he touched our hearts and our lives, changing us forever in ways we never expected, never dreamed of, but will always cherish. His indomitable spirit reached out and touched others that never knew him, never met him except though his website, message board, or word of mouth, but they mourn him all the same, now that he has crossed the . In our search for a "Forever Home" for this brave and loving kitty, we met the wonderful and caring people of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, in Utah. While Kitty-Boy never had a chance to find his "Forever Home", he had something just as wonderful: a beautiful, warm and safe sanctuary at Best Friends, with people devoted to his happiness and welfare. And, in an unexpected but welcomed bonus, this socially friendly kitty had other cats to play with and sleep beside in his final days, something that meant as much to us, as it did to him! Please, join us in our efforts to help other cats and kittens like Kitty-Boy, as well as all other animals, to have homes with loving and caring human companions. Help us to ensure that no animal goes without medical care, food, shelter or love, and that no animal is put to sleep simply because it is not wanted.
