UPDATE: Misty has found her Forever Home! She was adopted by a wonderful family that truly adores her! In fact, sweet little Misty, the mirror image of her wonderful mama, was a belated Mother's Day Present from daughter to mother! Congrats, Misty!

Here are some facinating facts about Misty:


** Misty was second born, and appeared to be solid black at first. As Mama Isabel cleaned up her first born daughter, Misty's incredible coloring became more obvious, and we realized we had a very unique kitten in the bunch!

** Although unique, Misty is not an original! In fact, she's almost a mirror image of her wonderful mama! There are just a few differences, but they are both Tortoiseshell with White (also known, in America, as a Calico). As a child, I called this type of cat a "Halloween" cat because of the mixture of orange in black!

** Misty is quite a little stinker! Among the first to open her eyes and eat kitten food, she strongly resisted the litter pan until just about ten days ago, and now she's an old pro!

** A born climber, Misty loves to climb pantlegs, so if you sit down, watch out! She'll be up on your lap in a flash!

** Like many Tortoiseshells/Calicos, Misty is very independant in nature, and often comes across as a royal princess. But that doesn't stop her from wanting a cuddle or belly rub!

** Misty is probably the bravest of all the kittens. Rarely does she act in any way timid or startled. She pretty much seems to think she's got the world on a string, and it's hers to play with!
