Isabel's Babies Need Loving Homes

Boo Bear * Pirate Patch * Misty Morning * KiboKitty * Oz (Adopted)
Mama Isabel

Five sweet kittens were born to Isabel, a Rescued mama cat, on March 16, 2004. . .the night of the last snowstorm of the year. Isabel, a 1-2 year old Tortoiseshell with White (aka Calico), had only been with us three days when her babies were born. We barely even had time to have our vet check her over before the babies began arriving that snowy Tuesday evening.

It's been eight weeks, and much as it breaks our hearts to part with them, Isabel's babies need loving homes. First born Oz has already been adopted, by a wonderful family with connections with our veterinary clinic. We're so glad for him! If you are interested in adopting one of Isabel's babies, please read on:

1. The kittens are eight weeks old as of May 10, 2004. They have been eating a combination of several varieties of dry kitten foods for several weeks, in addition to nursing. They are now weaned, litter box trained, and well socialized.

2. Each adopted kitten comes with a bag of the same kitten food we have been feeding them, and a bag of the same kitty litter we have been using.

3. The kittens have all been vet checked, they've been wormed twice, and they've all had their first set of shots (their second set of kitten shots are due around June 1st). You will receive a copy of their current immunization records upon adoption.

4. We require an Adoption Agreement (which can be viewed HERE) for each kitten. This is to ensure that the kittens are properly appreciated and cared for in their new homes. If you have any questions, we will be more than glad to discuss this with you. And if the financial aspect of spaying or neutering your new kitten is of concern, we can help you with low cost alternatives, such as Spay/Neuter clinics.

5. Although we do not charge for the kittens, we do request that you make a good-faith, tax-deductable, one-time donation of at least $15 to our local Humane Society. Even if you opt not to adopt one of Isabel's babies, donating to the Humane Society would be a wonderful show of support for an overworked and overwhelmed organization that performs an extremely vital function in our County.
