You agree to provide the puppy/kitten listed above with all the food, water, shelter, love and vet care necessary for its continued well-being. You agree to have your puppy/kitten spayed or neutered as soon as possible (NO EXCEPTIONS!). If this is financially difficult, we can help you find low-cost alternatives, such as a Spay/Neuter clinic, and can even provide transportation. We might request verification that the spay or neuter was done.
We certify that the above named puppy/kitten has been vet checked, wormed, and has had the first set of shots. A certificate of vaccination will accompany each puppy/kitten.
Each puppy/kitten will come with a bag of food they are currently eating. In addition, each kitten will come with a bag of kitty litter, and each puppy will come with a matching collar and leash.
Although we are NOT affiliated with the Humane Society, we would greatly appreciate a good-faith, one time, tax-deductible, minimum donation of $15 to our Local Humane Society if you adopt one of our puppies or kittens, in support of the wonderful work they do for homeless dogs and cats. Even if you don't adopt a puppy or kitten, please consider supporting our local Humane Society, either with a cash donation, or donations of dry dog, cat, puppy or kitten food, blankets for bedding, kitty litter, or call and ask them what else they might be in need of. If you chose not to donate to the Humane Society, we reserve the right to do a follow-up visit on the puppy/kitten you adopt, the date and time to be at our discretion.
Even "Free to Good Home" pets are not truly free. You need to take into consideration the future costs of food, shelter, vet bills and possible boarding costs while on vacation, before agreeing to adopt a pet. In addition, while puppies and kittens are cute and adorable, and they steal our hearts, they also grow into dogs and cats, and many people no longer find them cute, and lose interest. Please consider the fact that they will only be babies a few months, but will be adults for years. PLEASE do NOT adopt a pet if you cannot afford the expenses involved, or if you are not prepared to love and care for it even when the "cuteness factor" wears off. Our shelters are already overburdened with unwanted animals, and pets that are heartlessly abandoned not only contribute to the pet overpopulation, but often die young, from disease, injury, attack from other animals, or cars.
If at any time in the future you are unable to keep or care for the above named puppy/kitten, we require you to find a suitable new home, or contact us to help you find a suitable new home. Shelters, Rescues, and/or Abandonment are not acceptable alternatives.
