My baby Israel had died and we were visiting my mom when I noticed a very cute white kitten on her porch. I tried to get close but it ran away. It was extremely feral. After a few more visits to my mom's, I noticed the white kitten had a uri and it's eyes were matted shut. My opportunity! We captured the kitten and took it home. We worked with the kitten slowly trying to tame it. It was so afraid that it hid for 3 days and we couldn't find it. Eventually, we found his hiding place and decided to name him Merlin for being such a good little magician and disappearing. Merlin helped me get over the loss of Israel and is my little 'munchkin-boy'. Merlin is now such a sweet boy and I'm so glad we were able to tame him. He's very affectionate and playful and has even played 'daddy' to the kittens that we have rescued over the past 2 years.
