sicycat wrote about Patches: Patches came to me over 2 years ago. Just another one of the many ferals that have crossed my path since I've lived in my apartment. She was of course, very skittish and would just run away whenever she'd see me. I still left food out for her and her sisters and she became a frequent visitor. Now, about 2 years later, she has been almost completely socialized by yours truly. It took a lot of patience, and love but it was worth it. Patches is now the most affectionate cat I have ever met. She meows for me all the time, she HAS to jump in my lap when I sit down and she is constantly kneading and rubbing her face all over me. I can pet her, kiss her, hold her and play with her. Anyone that comes over and sits on my patio is her friend instantly. She is truly the best feral gift I have ever gotten. Congratulations Patches!!!
