Kara Wrote about Abby: I'd like to nominate Abby for KHOTM. I adopted Abby in June of 2005. I wanted to get Alexa a little sister, so I began my search. I browsed website to website until I found Abby's picture (then her name was Allie) on a local animal rescue organization's website. She stood out to me right away with her sweet face. I went to visit her at the foster mom's home. We boneded right away. As I was filling out the adoption paperwork, Abby signed it too...by biting the side of the paperwork leaving little teeth marks. Right away the foster mom said "I guess she is claiming you as her new mom". I said "yes, she sure is!" She came into my home 2 days later. Within 24 hours, Alexa and Abby were best friends and have been ever since. Abby brings so much joy into my life and is always keeping me on my toes with her teenage antics. But she sure makes me smile and laugh constantly. She has been a wonderful addition to our home. Congratulations Abby!!!
