One night while I was on the computer I heard loud cries from outside. When I looked out the window, I saw a young kitten sitting in the middle of the walkway. As a cat lover, I went outside to investigate. When I got out there, there was this adorable kitten who came right up to me. I stayed to pet her for awhile and then said goodnight. I came back home only to look outside my door an hour later, and saw her sitting at the door. I ended up making a little bed for her in a box outside and she ended up staying there. Days passed and she didn't return to her home. I decided it was time to post found cat ads around the neighborhood. I had no luck. I named her Ashtyn, just for I could call her something. She was a total sweety.
I decided after a few weeks that I better get her spayed and find her a home. I spoke to my mother who had just lost her dear cat, Chino, a month or so earlier. She stated that Ashtyn could come over to stay but she didn't know if she wanted to keep her. I was told I still need to find a home for her. My parents were still upset about the sudden loss of Chino and they were not sure if she was ready for another cat.
Ashtyn went over to my parents house and she fit right in. Ashtyn's name was changed to Kona. Kona has lived with my parents for about a year now and she was and still is a great addition to the family. She has everybody wrapped around her little paw.
Congratulations Kona!!!
