I am nominating my Elsa for June. You wouldn't know it
to look at her, but she had a very rough start in life.
She was rescued from a pig farm along with 2 queens,
9 other kittens and and an adolescent male. She was the
last to be adopted, because she was very sickly and weak.
At 3 months old when I got her, she had a really bad eye
infection, and barely weighed two pounds. She remains a
"special needs" kitty because her eyes still get infected
on a regular basis. She pulled Psy out of his depression
when his brother died, and helped fill the gaping hole
in my heart. She has grown into a lovely, cuddly, sweet
little devil who is always getting into trouble - but
boy, has she figured out how to use cute to get out of
it! She is also very in tune with my feelings. It seems
when I am at my lowest, that is when she chooses to wake
me in the morning with purrs, cuddles and kisses to let
me know life can't be all bad... after all,
we found each other!
Congratulations, Elsa!
