The neighbor boy mentioned something about a stray cat, but we didn't pay much attention at the time. A few days later, I was cleaning house and heard a cat meowing outside the door. I opened my front door to find Spooky just sitting there. She instantly ran inside the house, ate, used the litter box, then curled up underneath the couch and slept. She definitely chose US. Despite her initial reaction to Talon ("What? Who is THAT? No no, he needs to leave now."), we convinced her that she was more than welcome to stay, but Talon had been here first. She is still unhappy about this situation and remains aloof and looks down upon everyone in the household from her perch on the tallest piece of furniture in the house. She is mischevious, and holds a mean grudge, and was named for her incredibly creepy habit of moving around the house in complete silence. She is the stereotypical cat in every way, and that's why I respect her. Congratulations Spooky!!!
