Her mother was all black, so that made clear that her father was Siamese. I was 11 years old at the time and my neighbor (I babysat his daughter) had known that I loved cats and had always wanted one. Haley was beautiful, she was all white except for her nose, ears, tail, and arms, which were a lovely shade of gray. He decided that since this cat was so beautiful he would wait until she was old enough to leave her mother and she would be mine. He watched them everyday (he delivered towels to the restaurant) and once he saw that the kittens were eating solids and doing fine away from the mother, he called over little Haley and she came to him & he nabbed her up. She cried the whole way ... I got home from school on September 14, 1999 a Tuesday & my mother told me to go over his house because he said he had a surprise (my mother had NO idea he was doing this) I said okay and went on over. I opened the door and saw a beautiful siamese kitten laying on a pillow and he said it was for ME. I was so excited, she was infested with fleas though so we needed to give her a bath. They had originally named her Gracie, but I changed that. I went back home & told my mother immediately and she came right over, she was nervous but that didn't matter, the cat was already there. So we went to go buy stuff for the kitten ... and the rest is history. Haley is now 9 years old and she's my best friend, we grew up together, I taught her to hunt by letting her stalk and attack me lol, I was sacrificed for her learning. It was well worth it and she's to date the best present I've ever received. Congratulations Haley!!!
