B and B's Mommy wrote about Bayleigh:
Bayleigh is just a little over two years now, and as you can see, she is just the princess of the house.
Yes, that is her chair. And yes, she does sit in it without being prompted.
Bayleigh has a very special life with us. When we adopted her, she evened things up. We had two boys and
just one girl. Now we have two and two. She has completed our family. She has her 'adopted' brothers
(Burrito, who's grey tiger & Boston, who's blackish grey tiger) and sister (Briegh, who's grey tiger).
Bayleigh is a lighter grey tiger stripes in grey, white, and pale brown. I haven't seen too many kittes
with her coloring or markings. But what makes her fit right in is that just like Burrito, Boston & Briegh,
she has a white chin and neck. She gets along well with them and because she's still really petite, they
like to play with her. What's even more special is Bayleigh's mom, Cali, lives in a nearby town with a
good friend of mine so I've been to visit her many times. Bayleigh was among a litter of 6. And even more
wonderful is my friend that has Cali's mom couldn't bear to part with all of her brothers and sisters,
so she still has them also. I've been to see all of them and it's really neat to see the similarities
that Bayleigh shares with her siblings, even though she hasn't seen them in about two years.
What makes Bayleigh special? For a smaller cat, she has a very loud voice. She purrs very loud. She loves
to sleep in her kitty bed. She sits in her chair. But her trick is playing "paper ball". Either me or hubby
tosses a small crumpled up ball of paper and Bayleigh runs, actually sprints, to fetch it. She puts it in
her little mouth then runs back and drops it by our feet for the next toss. She can do this for hours I
think! As soon as she hears the paper getting crumpled, there she is right next to me waiting for the first
toss! But what makes Bayleigh unique is the white end of her tail. If you look closely at the picture you
can see it. Her tail is very long (it touches the back of her head when she walks) and her white tail tip
gives her away when I can only see a tail passing by me. She is very loving and will come up and lay on
my chest at night and go to sleep. It's very comforting!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Please vote for Bayleigh for KOTM. Aloha!
Congratulations, Bayleigh!
